Silence on Syria "The shocking news that the OPCW fixed its own report in order to frame the Syrian government for a chemical weapons attack that likely did not even happen, according to its own expert investigators, has been roundly ignored by corporate media........https://www.mintpressnews.com/newswe...po7E09xaaHUwAk

The Syria bias has been in place since Obama drew his "red line." It's a holdover from the failed Arab Spring movement, which was designed by western powers to oust all Middle Eastern dictators and replace them with democracies. LOL -- we all saw how poorly that went.

MSM is highly biased and that reporter is doing himself a favor by getting out while he can.

Why do Western powers think they have a right to interfere with the politics of Middle Eastern countries , or any countries for that matter ? The fact that accusations of Syria using chemical weapons was all fake , is slowly emerging .

Actually, that "fact" emerged years ago -- when the UN report said it could not be sure the chemicals used came from Syria.

Why do Western powers think they have a right to interfere? I think that's more complex. Western nations are considered the most "desirable" to live in, which is why immigrants and refugees stream over our borders when they get the chance, but we don't want our countries turned into Middle Eastern (or South American) hell holes, so we try to do things that will make the Middle East a better place to live in hopes they will stop coming here.

To date -- most of our attempts have met with poor, or at least mixed, results.

But also -- the world is getting smaller, via the development of technology -- and those rogue nations can present a risk to the more highly evolved western nations. So, some of it is for our protection.

I tend to agree with you that we ought not mess around as much as we do -- look what happened in Ukraine -- we funded the ouster of a duly elected President and as a result, the Crimea seceded and Russia annexed it. Huge mistake on Obama's part, but it's all water over the bridge now.

Why do ME countries request help from Western Powers? Why do those seeking to gain power always request assistance from Western Powers?

Why did Russia work with the US to get (according to Obama and Kerry) all of Syrias Chems to be destroyed?
