Media and social media is filled with incompetent people that could do nothing else. So is politics. Others teach and work in government before ever succeeding in life.

#2. " 87%" is not the " law of the universe"., the "Pareto Principle" (80/20) is the law of most things from both Social and economic considerations. Howrber, it is the amount of total income tax revenue the top 20% pay. The latter is measurable. Unlike what he says.

#3. If 7/8ths of them are "incompetant" how did they get to be " leaders"?

#4. He may be pandering ro the human nature aspect of most two leggers . humanz tend to gravitate to whsts easiest, especially losers. To demean.the top of the food chain makea many feel warm and fuzzy with being lazy as in " being a lesder isnt all that".

#5 the reason some at the top of the food chain may indeed be " incompetant " in some or other areas ( but obviously not their career).is because the frequency of psychopathy is 3-400% higher at the top. https://www-cnbc-com.cdn.ampproject....bad-thing.html

    too honest commentary

Kinda curious that so many made this political and then entered the aggrieved bubble that they now live in. Misogyny is so unbecoming and groupthink so boring. But I included the John Gardner quote as a kinda afterthought. Gardner is an excellent fiction read and that quote is from his book on writing. Some took offense, but I worked, was team leader, and managed people / projects for many years and thought while it is a bit high each person falls into a niche. I'll leave it there.

Years ago I read Francois Lyotard’s 'The Postmodern Condition' I have to check if I still have it. While a bit off topic it covers the society we now live in. The article below is excellent. We all appear today to live in bubbles but bubbles can be both helpful and blinding.

"Citizens were shape-shifting into consumers and actively participating in their own marginalization. " from below op

'Postmodernism predicted our post-truth hellscape. Everyone still hates it.'

"The ruling class is and will continue to be the class of decision makers." Jean-Francois Lyotard

Why do so many men become incompetent leaders. Well you could point to them being democrats for the most part.

Jimmy Carter, and Clinton and Obama the most recent, Carter was a total failure along with Obama who accomplished NOTHING, Clinton was is a womanizer, abuser and rapist.

Lyotard’s a postmodern. Unsurprising that you would be following his bubbles.

    Postmodernism is a post-truth philosophy.
