Oh truth my ass, it was a simple error on my part, I read he was State Congressman for years and misread the State part, I was not lying or intentionally trying to mislead anyone.

I find it peculiar that a lifelong democrat who for decades was a democrat state of nj Politician wins a house seat as a democrat in that same district and then rather quickly switchs parties. That tells us that this impeachment has switched over his constituents or he doesnt care about getting re elected. One thing is certain, something "dramatically" changed and changed quickly

Ok Im "WRONG" about this and guilty of reading too fast and not paying attention, here is the facts

Jeff Van Drew was a state house democrat for decades. He ran for a seat held by Frank Lobiondo Republican for Decades who retired. He was facing a tough re election without impeachment and impeachment fired up his base and assured he lose. Hes switching party in an attempt to be re elected.

Yes, accuracy is important. He was a long time Democrat. He spent many years, decades in state government as a Democrat.

You didn’t know that because you didn’t check. You just thought that you had an issue and ran with it

Actually, I did know that and I did check. The OP said he was a Congressman for decades. He was a freshman rep this year. What he did before is irrelevant to the claim that he was a congressman because he wasn’t.

Common got it, and had the respectability to acknowledge it. So you can stop being a hack now.

Nice attempt to side-step. How was I being a hack? By pointing out that he was indeed an elected Democrat for decades?

So again, what differ wrench does it make that this long time elected Democrat was only a US Congressman for 11 months?

It was stated that he was a congressman for decades, that’s the difference. Keep up, I’m not going to keep going around in circles.
