Deposing Mossadegh did lead to some issues later on, but it's not like the US was the only one manipulating that region. During the Cold War, the US, USSR, and China squared off in various parts of the world. The USSR did plenty of meddling in the Middle East in its own right.

What adds to my argument is the fact that the USSR was not well-liked either. They were almost as powerful as the US in terms of their military and held considerable economic power as well. China was similar too.

All 3 nations had plenty of hatred directed their way. Depending on your perspective, some of it could be described as understandable, but some of it could also be seen as irrational.

If you mean "intervene", I agree to an extent. Granted, with geopolitics being what they are, some interventionism is inevitable.

I don't know about that. I think most people on the right (far or center-right) realize that most of the hatred of the US is a combination of jealousy and whataboutism.

If some other nation was the most powerful militarily and economically, I'm sure that nation would also receive plenty of hate.

The US is hated because it is a greedy, violent empire that ruins countless lives.
