Post Transgender worker suing Nike for $1.1 million cites pronoun abuses

Transgender worker suing Nike for $1.1 million cites pronoun abuses. A transgender former Nike contractor is seeking $1.1 million in damages from the sporting goods giant for allegedly allowing gender identity-based harassment.

According to a civil lawsuit filed this week, Nike and Mainz Brady Group, a staffing firm that hired workers for Nike, discriminated against computer engineer Jazz Lyles, who identifies as transmasculine and prefers the pronouns they/them/their. The complaint was filed with Multnomah Circuit Court in Oregon.

Gender fluidity is nothing more than a sense of entitlement. There are only two biological genders and unless a person is a hermaphrodite, they are not gender fluid. Just because someone refuses to accept it, doesn't mean that they are entitled to a separate set of pronouns. People need to get over themselves. I don't support bullying but I also don't support this notion of special treatment and special pronouns.

This is why lawyers...well, you know.
Whoever criticizes capitalism, while approving immigration, whose working class is its first victim, had better shut up. Whoever criticizes immigration, while remaining silent about capitalism, should do the same.

I'm sorry, but this stuff will never be considered normal. And no amount of browbeating will ever change that.

There is going to reach a point there is a huge backlash over this bullying. Having said that I have no feelings of compassion for nike whatsoever.
Not anything to do with Kaepernick, its that nike is a predatory company that preys and markets and rips off minorities.

How? by marketing and pushing disgustingly overpriced shoes directed at Minorities. These shoes costs pennies more than a 70.00 nike to manufacture and ship and they charge in the hundreds for them because they put a basketball stars name on it. Right now Lebrons cost 250.00, there isnt many white kids stammering to have lebrons nor were there white kids by the thousands running around with Air Jordans in the day.

Nike shoes for the most part are garbage, they have no stability, no structure they are cheap made $#@!, I wouldnt take a pair for free.
They kisseed Kaerpenicks ass to keep having people that cant afford them buy 250.00 lebrons, they suck

I thought Nike was all in on the LGBTQ issues of the day?

Back when I was running fifty miles a week, I didn't like Nike shoes. They fell apart too quickly.
