Post 11 Lost Cities You Can Actually Visit

Rediscover these abandoned cities by traveling to see their ruins, where you can readily imagine their lost-to-time structures and civilizations. -- Mrs. U wants to travel. We both love history and she sent me this article. Frankly, we went to some ruins in Mexico once. We boarded a bus that was guarded by soldiers with M-16's. Personally, why bother with the risk? How many of you have been to any of these sites?

The last one -Perdida looks like a golf course to me.... There are several more in the article. Yes, they are beautiful and she'll probably win (she always does).

Any time you give a man something he doesn't earn, you cheapen him. Our kids earn what they get, and that includes respect. -- Woody Hayes

I have been to several in Morocco and Spain. Cool stuff. I want to hit Petra, Jordan at some point.
