This is EXACTLY what I have...
Not too bad for two 40 round AK mags I had no use for.

25 to 30 feet or so to start out then move out further just for fun if you wish.

Start with 3 pumps, then try 4, then 5 pumps.
You should find a sweet spot where all the compressed air is being effectively discharged from the air chamber. You can put too many pumps in and there will be no increase in power as the air valve can only stay open long enough to eject just so much air anyway.

Try different pellets also. The flat face wad cutters and if you can find some ball nose or pointed pellets.

If you have eBay or Amazon search for RWS brand Hyper Velocity Pellets. They are lead free and higher velocity than lead pellets.
Obviously much better penetration also. I love them.

The values I have are from the 2016 Edition.
They grade them in percentage of original condition.
    20% - $35
    40% - $50
    60% - $80
    80% - $100
    90% - $125
    95% - $150
    100% - N/A

Add 50% for the original box.
Add 10-15% for high-comb, original checkering, or walnut stock

    Have fun.
