We left the packet of catnip that we got with the scratch pad on the kitchen counter. Our 22 lb 3 year old Mancoon somehow opened it and we found him on his back rolling around in it when we got up that next morning.
I'm yo.

Well, not everyone lets dogs lick them on the face. However, unlike cats, dogs actually care about you. Cats just view you as the hired help. When they want to be petted, they can be relentless and when they get bored with your attention, they bite you. One interesting thing about dogs is that the male of the species tends to be 'needier' than the female. There are also breeds of dogs that are less apt to demand a great deal of attention of the 'pet me' variety - usually those that are less domesticated, because much of that need for attention comes from the traits that have been selected by humans over the centuries in certain breeds.
