Virginia Governor Calls for 18 person Gun Ban Force.....

Looks Like Virginia is resisting the Deviate Demo Governor and the other Deviate Demos pushing for a Gun Ban. Things are starting to heat up. Deviate Demos are also saying they will go after Sherriffs that wont enforce the gun bans. If this starts to boil over with 91% of the People of Virginia being against the Gun Bans and Gun Control initiatives there is a possibility that we might start seeing Democrats hanging from Tree Limbs. Just imagine how that could benefit the Country.

Virginia’s pop-up gun sanctuary movement has turned its attention to fighting the governor’s call for a $4.8 million, 18-officer team to enforce his proposed “assault weapons” ban.

Two key groups issued an alert this week to push gun owners to four budget hearings Thursday around the state, asking them to quiz state legislators if they will vote to ban or confiscate weapons.

“We see in the governor’s proposed budget that he wants $4 million and 18 new law-enforcement positions to enforce a ban on commonly-owned firearms,” said Erich Pratt, Gun Owners of America senior vice president.

The election surprised gun owners and prompted them to subsequently flood town and county meetings to demand that local lawmakers OK sanctuary resolutions to ignore Richmond’s gun control urge.

A surprising 91% of all state counties have adopted the resolutions, sending a signal to state lawmakers.

If the gun owners are smart, they'll turn over the weapons; get a receipt for them and then file a lawsuit in court citing the 2nd amendment. Anything else they do, they'll most certainly lose.

Those sheriffs who refuse to uphold the law risk being removed from office and replaced with those who'll uphold the law. If they believe the law is a violation of the 2nd amendment, then they should file suit in court as that is the mechanism we use in this country to settle disputes.
God Bless America, God Bless our Military and God Bless the Police who defended the country against the insurgents on January 6, 2021

Think 3rd party for 2024 folks. Clean up America.

Once I tell you that we agree to disagree there will be no more discussion between us in the thread so please don't waste your time continuing to argue your points because I will not respond.

All they have to do is file an injunction and it will be granted until it reaches SCOTUS.

    Removed from office by whom?

In most states, the Governor doesn't have the legal authority to remove a Sheriff from office. I don't know about Virginia specifically, but it is true as a general rule. It is certainly true in my state.

A search of Virginia laws for removal from office offers the following:
