Speaking of unstable. I really should go ahead and frame up that fence post table later today.
Thanks for reminding me. I have a wood carving set and will carve your avatar in one of the legs to remind me of this..our last conversation.

This way, if I want to talk to a fence post that does not comprehend one word I am saying, I have one right in my project room to talk to.

I think I will use 2X4s on the upper half and 1X4s on the lower part would make it more stable.
Might even make a little platform under there too. That would be nice.
I had to ensure it was 29 inches wide and no more so it could be brought through the interior doorways.

Good night, and don't let the termites bite.

Fascism, despotic or whatever you want to call it, is bi-partisan.

I see it with leftists groups like the BLM and antiFa (and their fascists predecessors).
I see it with the Nazi style movements.
I see it with some parts of the religious movements including Christian, Jewish and Islamic.
I see it with our media and social websites.

I see anyone in this country that is against the rights that our Constitution provides as Anti-American and despotic in nature.
The Constitution provides us with ways to modify, change the Constitution. Those that not change it the right way but try to go around it are the same as traitors. I will not use traitor directly because it has a technical meaning.
When I think of the Governor of Virginia then I think traitor or traitor like. Same with Hillary Clinton. Same with Bernie Sanders. Same with Elizabeth Warren. Now if they were simply involved in an effort to change the Constitution, then they would be doing that legally and I would just be in opposition. They know that Americans will not support their Socialism so they try a slower method of chipping away at the Constitution.

So they try to force us to give up our 2nd Amendment rights, pay fines for not buying a product because we are simply breathing and now take away our wealth during our life and in our death.

    1. Do they hate someone for voting their personal choice in an election? Do they hate 63 million people for voting their personal choice in an election? The numbers do not matter. They are despotic if they hate the fact people voted differently than them. They hate them personally. This is clearly evident since 2016 with all the vitriol directed a those like myself that merely thought Trump was a better choice than Hillary. Voting my choice is all it took for them to hate me with a viciousness i have not seen in any election before.

Voting your choice is a constitutional right in the USA.
If you hate this process then you are a despot.
If you hate me for exercising this right, then you are a despot.

Don't sugar coat your fascism with high moral ideals. You hate the freedom others have and want to take it away from them so you can dictate your will over them. This is why you hate personal choice in elections and those who exercise that choice.

Lately I have seen several members with this attitude of, " how dare they vote their choice ". " I hate them now ".

    ******************************************

    2. Personal freedom....for me...is when I can order a 500 round case of military rifle caliber ammunition on-line and have it delivered to my front door. THIS is freedom. As long as i can do this, then I am free. Only despots and control freaks hate this kind of freedom. It tells me my local government sees me as a citizen with rights to be respected and not someone to be feared.

If you do not have this kind of freedom, then your local government does not see you in this light.

(closeup of me with hat off, staring off into the distance with "Texas, Our Texas" playing in the background as the Texas flag is flapping in the breeze over my shoulder...then doing a sharp military about face and stepping off....walking into a cactus with my shinbone...(^*%^*%*%)...CUT!...CUT!

Mine's similar. There are those who believe they know better what's good for others and can control the universe and everything and everyone in it. And those who see man as flawed.

Hayek said of the first they suffer a fatal conceit. What Sowell calls the vision of the anointed.
Tradition is not the worship of ashes, but the preservation of fire. ― Gustav Mahler

" fatal conceit "....I like that. History has proven this to be true over and over again.

Many a despot killed by a free armed citizenry will also agree with your hate of the idea...as they look up from hell.

You completely disagree with me because you know an armed citizen with military caliber ammunition and a military caliber rifle is the biggest threat to a despot that ever existed.

My Turkish friends have an old saying...
" The best three things a man can have is a good sword, a good horse, and a good wife".

They modernized it a bit to say " a good rifle, a good car, and a good wife".

The sword and rifle are mentioned first because with them you can keep the other two from being taken away.

The first thing a despot does is disarm those they wish to subjugate.
A citizen who has a modern military caliber rifle and knows how to use it keeps them up at night.
Potential despots just hate the kind of freedom I just described in both cases.

    1. The freedom to vote their own choice in an election,
    and...
    2. The freedom to have a case of military caliber ammunition delivered right to my front door.

    What a concept !!!

I measure people politically based upon how controlling they are. How much do they favor needless control of other people's behavior and choices.
This measurement transcends lib vs con and cuts to the real heart of the matter. How much does one want to force their will upon others?
