    2019 NFL Playoffs: Divisional Round

I ended up going 2-2 with Wild Card Weekend. The Divisional Round presents some even more interesting matchups, but one thing I find most fascinating: the symbolism of Ryan Tannehill and Kirk Cousins knocking Tom Brady and Drew Brees out of the playoffs. Brady and Brees are stalwart, untouchable members of their respective teams, but they also represent the old guard of NFL QB's. Tannehill and Cousins, meanwhile, are leading different teams now than the ones that drafted them. The QB's still in it? Patrick Mahomes (KC Chiefs), Lamar Jackson (Baltimore Ravens), Deshaun Watson (Houston Texans), Russell Wilson (Seattle Seahawks), Jimmy Garoppolo (SF 49ers), and Aaron Rodgers (GB Packers). Of those teams, only Rodgers really represents the old guard of NFL QB's. All the rest represent the new generation of NFL QB's. I find it an interesting dichotomy.

    Anyway, the picks:

Minnesota Vikings (10-6) @ San Francisco 49ers (13-3): I mean, come on. Niners all the way.

Tennessee Titans (9-7) @ Baltimore Ravens (14-2): It'll be a close one, like all these games have been so far, but I think the plucky Titans once again pull out a surprise win.

Houston Texans (10-6) @ Kansas City Chiefs (12-4): Chiefs. Obviously.

Seattle Seahawks (11-5) @ Green Bay Packers (13-3): The Seahawks can never be counted out, but neither can the Packers with Aaron Rodgers' magic arm. Packers win it.

    So, your championships:

AFC Championship: Tennessee Titans @ Kansas City Chiefs
NFC Championship: Green Bay Packers @ San Francisco 49ers

I am tired of everyone fighting with each other. This is all by design.

Winners. In the NFC SF and Seattle. AFC, Baltimore and KC.
SF and Baltimore in the end.

I think these games are a lot easier to pick than last week's.

The Super Bowl won't be so easy, but I'll go with SF because of their defense. Of course that could change if they suffer an injury or two between now and then.

Now watch every game go in the opposite direction. If I'm wrong, it will be in the NFC. After beating the Saints on the road, the Vikings could do the same against SF. Still I think it's a long shot.

Seattle's had so many key injuries they might not be able to hold on.

No one could have beaten the 49ers today.

Baltimore is getting their ass kicked. Obviously tonight Tennessee is the better team.

That has to make Browns fans happy.

2-0. Same start as last week when I finished 2-2, but last week I got both AFC games and missed both NFC games, this week I got one AFC and one NFC game right. Pretty confident about tomorrow’s spread.

I had a great regualr season picking but horrible so fat in the playoffs, not that it matters. Two things I noted yesterday
    1) When the 49ers defense in healthy they are a force.
    2) The Titans are one hell of a 9-7 team! Not just Henry, but the D line , while giving up a lot of yards made big plays.

It will be interesting to see what happens today.

I know it's a cliché, but Henry was as close to unstoppable as a RB can get. But, his best play of the game might have been his jump TD pass.
