    The Tennessee Titans

The 28-12 win, Saturday, of the Titans over the Ravens--and in Baltimore, yet--must surely have sent shock waves across the NFL. After all, the Ravens are certainly the best team in professional football.

But the Titans may well be the hottest.

As a resident of Middle Tennessee--and a longtime resident of Nashville, itself (where the Titans are located)--I would probably not appear to be an impartial voice. (I watched the game in its entirety; and I rooted hard for the Titans, from the opening kickoff forward.)

But I still think that the Titans may now be the hottest team in the NFL.

When we were sitting at 2-4, I told everybody we were going to be in the playoffs and make it to the Super Bowl.

And here we are, one game away. We beat the Patriots and Ravens at home. Why not the Chiefs?
"A mature person is one who does not think only in absolutes, who is able to be objective even when deeply stirred emotionally, who has learned that there is both good and bad in all people and all things, and who walks humbly and deals charitably with the circumstances of life, knowing that in this world no one is all-knowing and therefore all of us need both love and charity."

The chiefs will be in the Super Bowl. They’ll lose to the 49ers

Wow Derrick Henry. And Lane Kiffin preferred to have Blake Sims throw against Ohio State than Derrick Henry run. Buckeyes fans are eternally grateful.

As a former resident of both Baltimore and Tennessee and an alumni of The University of Maryland I didn't know which team I should root for. I picked the Titans because after all the real Baltimore team is the Colts which as you all know was kidnapped in the middle of the night and forced into slavery in Indianapolis.
Political tags - such as royalist, communist, democrat, populist, fascist, liberal, conservative, and so forth - are never basic criteria. The human race divides politically into those who want people to be controlled and those who have no such desire.

Henry is a game changer for sure, but I just don't see the Titans having the weapons to stop KC.

Yes, as I am now 72 years of age, I well remember the Baltimore Colts. (Likewise, I still think of the Washington baseball team as the Senators; that is what it was called for many years.)

And you are quite correct to note that the Colts were "kidnapped in the middle of the night."

I've always thought that the Indianapolis Colts are illegit.
