I guess it depends on what people consider foul or obscene. I'm sure some may think any humour about sex or that uses swear words as foul and obscene. That alone isn't offensive to me, so long as it's not hateful and it's not done just to offend. Lazy comedians will use obscenity just to shock and be controversial. But great comedians can use obscenity to make us laugh and think about the human condition.
Foul language and taboo topics don't offend me alone. Does it offend you?

Taboo topics are typically things that people are uncomfortable talking about...sex, bodily functions, race, religion etc...

One can address those topics and be quite funny without being crude or needlessly obscene. There are no taboo topics, just ways to address those topics, which don’t cross a line but still are funny.
Just because one is a comedian it doesn’t give them license to be an idiot.
