So is your argument that Federalists were northerners and Antifederalists Southerners?
From your link: "Anti-Federalist Position on Representation in Congress – Melancton Smith." He was a northerner from New York.
And we know Madison, a Federalist, was a southerner.
Federalists and Antifederalists ranged north and south.
Antifederalists wanted to keep the Articles of Confederations. They were revolutionaries, not reactionaries.
