Allow me to stand corrected right now. For those of you waiting to pounce on a wrong Ransom......Cowboy had no chance. He looks spent.
Conor…..great for UFC Biz......he will take another big fight, Xl can give us all the possibilities. That Russian Dude he tried to throw a dolly at, Diaz again, this Masdival...or does he fight once more in UFC and then take a yuge boxing purse and run with his whiskey company? I actually thought Cowboy stood a chance but the strength difference obvious right away. Cowboy should pay back PPViewers.
Wasn't it over in less than a minute? How does that happen?

Cutesy Time is OVER
Cowboy showed up to collect his check. Didn't look like he wanted to be in there, didn't even throw one strike. Conor looked good though, legs, arms, and shoulders looked a lot bigger, I'm assuming he bulked up to stay at Welterweight. I don't know how that's going to work for him, there are a lot of large elite wrestlers in that division like Kamaru Usman, Colby Covington, and Tyron Woodley and Jorge Masvidal has been knocking out guys right and left. It's a nice moment for Conor but I'm not sure where he goes from here, he'd likely get dominated again by Khabib at Lightweight and I don't see him beating any of the top 5 in the Welterweight division.

He's got 3 likely options, fighting Jorge Masvidal in what would be a clash of the two biggest personalities and stars in the sport, rematching Khabib for the Lightweight Title, or fighting the Welterweight Champ Kamaru Usman. I'd say of the 3, the most likely is a fight with Masvidal, followed by the Khabib rematch, followed by the Usman fight. I'd be surprised if it was something other than those 3.
I was hoping there would be some UFC fans here. I always watch the next morning/day. Looking through the predictions here, I would note that Cowboy hits a lot harder than Diaz. His Muay Thai skills can hurt someone pretty badly, and his ground game is good enough to finish McGregor.
Now that it's over, it appears that Cowboy had a smart plan. He ducked under the first left, and clinched. I have never seen so much damage from shoulder strikes. We typically see them up against the fence.
I've been a Cowboy fan for a very long time. He has moments of brilliance, but he also has those fights where he condescended to show up after a night of partying. You can never count on him to impress when it's a big moment. After a long road to the championship which included a decision over Henderson (that Henderson won), he looked terribly disappointing vs. Dos Anjos.
I'm glad I didn't pay for the PPV. Main event was ridiculous, but kudos to the underdogs on the card who tore up. Roxanne looked better than I've ever seen her.
Everyone wants to fight Mac, because of the gate. I don't see him winning any of those fights, though.
Ferguson gets Khabib next. Let's not curse it another time! Usman would beat Mac in the first round. Khabib will beat him whenever he wants to. Masvidal would be an interesting fight. Maybe the longest of the three.
