    'CIA created ISIS'

"On the sixth anniversary of the first infamous "Cablegate" by WikiLeaks, when it releases its first batch of sensitive US files, on November 28 2010, it has expanded its Public Library of US Diplomacy (PLUSD) with 531,525 new diplomatic cables from 1979. In a statement to coincide with the release of the cables, known as "Carter Cables III", Mr Assange explained how events which unfolded in 1979, had begun a series of events that led to the rise of ISIS. He said: "If any year could be said to be the "year zero" of our modern era, 1979 is it." Mr Assange said a decision by the CIA, together with Saudi Arabia, to plough billions of dollars into arming the Mujahideen fighters in Afghanistan to tackle the Soviet Union, had led to the creation of terror group al-Qaeda. This, in turn, he said led to the 9/11 terror strikes, the invasion of Afghanhistan and Iraq by the US, and the creation of ISIS. ......https://www.express.co.uk/news/world...Julian-Assange

    "Created ISIS"?

I wouldn't go that far. It makes it sound like a conspiracy theory or an intentional act. I think it would be more accurate to claim ISIS was a product of several factors, including unintended consequences of the invasion and occupation of Iraq.

ISIS would not have happened without all of the funding of the Mujahideen. It would have remained a local issue that could have been utterly eliminated by funding the Afghan military to eliminate it. Funding it gave them, and ultimately AQ and ISIS, the weapons and infrastructure to go international. The motives of the Saudis are clear - they want to establish a Sunni Caliphate under their control. Western motives underwent mission shift after the end of the cold war.

PJL, you told us that 90% of the arms ISIS used originated in Russia and Eastern Europe. Did you think you were going to live that down?

That seems a bit far fetched. Given what we know about the formation of ISIS, it doesn't suggest that the CIA or any intelligence organization were involved in their formation.

No one who knows what they're talking about would. Good move.

Incorrect . You claim that I told you that, and even tried to sign my name to it ...so now you are a known common liar , who cannot be trusted to post anything that can be believed.

The wikileaks released emails prove conclusively that the CIA was not only involved directly , but were the main instigators . Do you really need to be reminded that wikileaks does not release stories , they release genuine emails and genuine indisputable communications between the perpetraters , and it's a complete waist of time trying to deny them. They are a criminal organization.

They covered their track well........before Wikileaks . They cover their tracks no more . You have a simple choice to make : truth or bullshyit ....and the choice is entirely yours.
