    How America Uses Its Energy

It surprised me how much waste heat is rejected. Inefficient as all get out.

No matter what you heat up it is going to dissipate to cooler air around it The more heat you generate = the amount it will dissipate. You can only try to delay it through insulation or absorption.

You should see the heat wasted/vacated in the refinery units themselves. Almost all units have sets of large "finfans" on top to expel the rising heat from process.

During the daytime in August, I've seen afternoon thunderstorms approach and actually "go around" the plant, so much heat is generated and rising.

True but I never realized how much!

Perhaps are first point of attack should be to disband cities or at least spread them out.

According to the EPA, the annual mean air temperature of a city with one million people or more can be 1.8 to 5.4 degrees Fahrenheit warmer than surrounding areas. In the evening, the difference can be as much as 22 degrees, as rural areas quickly cool down after sunset, while cities maintain their heat. Their air is filthy, they live in filth and they are warming the planet. Of course that is where all these Democrats live that think you do not need fossil fuels.

    They paved paradise
And put up a parking lot
