California legal system is seriously screwed up.

A 57-year-old convicted killer serving a life sentence has become the first U.S. inmate to receive state-funded sex-reassignment surgery, the prisoner’s attorneys confirmed Friday.
California prison officials agreed in August 2015 to pay for the surgery for Shiloh Heavenly Quine, who was convicted of first-degree murder, kidnapping and robbery for ransom and has no possibility of parole.
Quine’s case led the state to become the first to set standards that will allow other transgender inmates to apply to receive state-funded sex-reassignment surgery. It also prompted a federal magistrate to require California to provide transgender female inmates housed in men’s facilities with more female-oriented items such as nightgowns, scarves and necklaces.

now I also was watching a tv show with the women folk where a guy in cali had got the death penalty for killing one man then a couple and the sentence was reduced by a judge to 2 life sentences then the judge had them pay for his sex reassignment surgery which is why he killed the 3 people over trying to steal enough to pay for.he also had him moved to a women's prison .


like all this makes me sick that the legal system in cali is making the tax payers pay for this ,its wrong but I guess its the liberal way to reward murders

There was a guy serving a life sentence for killing women. He got a sex reassignment surgery and transfer to a women's prison where he killed one woman and attacked another.

This is insane. Tax payers should not have to pay for stupid stuff like this. And if a judge says yes, let the funds come from the court's budget.

I don't remember the source but the number that i remember was that 70% of transgendered people wish they had not gone through with the surgery years later.

Like this prisoner, they are mostly emotionally unstable. Will we have to pay for his addadictome (add-a-dic-to-me) when he decides this was a mistake also?
