Is that possible? I suspect it is.
Haha, I see you hate Win10 as much as I do.
There are 2 really good product key programs. One is by Magic Jelly Bean called keyfinder. I know it sounds like a silly name but it's for real and it works.
The other is called belarc advisor. It goes into much more detail and is also free for personal use.

If I ever do go to Win10 it will probably be a Dell Business class computer. They are a bit more expensive but don't come with the add-on foo foo advertising junk that you get from a Best Buy or similar box store outlet.
That still won't stop the inherent spying that Win10 does but at least makes it easier to concentrate on that rather than fighting all the free bee crap and unnecessary junk.

I ordered by new HP W10 from HP and it did not come with a lot of bloatware. That is why I didn't go to the local mega computer store 2 miles away. And I was surprised that I got it in 2 days. The last time I bought an HP it took them 2-3 weeks to deliver it. That was back in 2011.

Bloatware...I like that. I always called it foo foo.

I've always found that ordering a new pc directly from the manufacturer was a better option.
