    Incorrect . The EEC was a trading bloc....not a political or military body.

    The introduction of the euro was little more than a central bank control mechanism , to override the sovereignty of European countries , and coerce them into austerity measures and accepting con-job IMF bail-outs . It's about time the euro was ditched.
