I knew about the sidewalk thing . I've always felt that was BS , it's not your sidewalk, plus from a practical POV people have to work and it would be more expiedient to have the city take care of it and charge a couple more bucks on the tax roles.
But i did not know that you were required to shovel your private walkway. How do they claim to have the right to do that?

The city doesn't force you to clear your personal walkway, but if the postman has to use your walkway, and other delivery people, then if they slip and fall, you will be held liable.

I think its too much govt. I get the point but in my mind "tuf sht" for the postals etc. Change jobs. My reason is I dont like the citizen being responsible. Period. Im about to fall asleep. Ill have to look again tomorrow

It's been below zero for a couple of days which has, as it typically does, at least shut down the snow machine.

The temperature here in the Phoenix area is supposed to get up to 82 today. Saw the first shirtless runner of the season yesterday, and the Diamondbacks have begun full team workouts. Spring is just around the corner.

My youngest is moving to D.C. next week, and he's been investing in heavier clothes. He actually had to go out and buy a coat! Can't remember the last time I owned one.

cold and too humid here.....a bad combination. Cold feels colder. or maybe it's just me.
Supposed to be nicer by next Monday.
We have no snow. It has snowed about a week ago, but it's all gone...........and I don't mind that one bit.

it surprised me that it snowed. wasnt in the forecast. i woke up about 5 AM and it was a steady rain. i love the rain so I sat and watched it for about an hour. suddenly , a few snowflakes (not millenials, the other ones lol) started falling then it came down. i watched it for another hour or so and I suppose God had better things to do than entertain me all morning so it stopped
