Be a variety studies that contained data gathered in a sophisticated or reliable manner. It wasnt as though the average guy on the street was arguing with another guy about even the basic stuff. Things such h as macro and micro econ, quanta vs qualitative etc. Most people could barely read much less pick apart the various parts of a sum and get to the part how a part of anything be it a tangible commodity or intangible idea gained the honor to be a part of an idea. The ones that did were prolly running the exchange of a tangible item such as the Tulip Bulb to cash in on crowd psychology of people.
