Some people might consider that statement a bit extreme. I would remind them that Bernie spent his honeymoon in Moscow, during the time when Russia was known as the Soviet Union. Also, Bernie is on record having applauded the changes the Castro regime brought to the island of Cuba.

I don't think the current status quo of leadership really knows how to accurately categorize the coming generation(s) . They are more advanced , and more aware than ever before . The whole concept of categorizing them into media convenient pigeon holes , and labeling them as being left , right , libertarian , anarchist , socialist or anything else , is failing....and they know it . By the time the current leaders finally realize that their whole paradigm has disintegrated and become unworkable , they will be dead , buried and nothing more than ghosts of a bygone era.......and the world will have already changed and moved on.

First you dont live in America . second I was young and was idealistic at one time dreaming of utopia. There is no such thing I grew up and had to deal with the real world. Sanders has laid out a $16 trillion climate change plan that would transition u.s. Electricity generation away from fossil fuels to renewable resources like wind, solar and hydropower by 2030.
