I lived through the horrors of Y2K. I'm sure you all remember the bank accounts disappearing and planes falling from the sky. I also lived through the devastation of AIDS which wiped out much of the world's population. And, there are the major cities that were underwater by the year 2000 thanks to Global Warming. Killer bees? Fire ants? Drug resistant tuberculosis? Fracking? Genetically Modified Foods? I remember when scientists reached a consensus that global nuclear war was inevitable with the resulting nuclear winter wiping out life unless the U.S. unilaterally disarmed. What happened?

The only world-wide disaster I can recall is one brought us by liberals. Malaria, thanks to the banning of DDT. Over 30 million dead and not a single liberal cares.

So, panic if you want and I'll enjoy the show again. My personal favorite were two fools who converted their assets to gold shares, not actual gold, for Y2K. On Y2K plus one day the gold shares were almost worthless.
