Why are commies drawn to dictators and supreme leaders?

This thread is inspired by recently Evo Morales ignoring presidential terms and winning a fourth one under suspicious circumstances. As well as the dozens of communist dictators who never relinquished power until they died or were forcibly removed.
This is one of the biggest contradictions of communism that I never get.
Like, based on their ideas, you would think that "permanent leadership" is the last thing a communist would want. It's the complete antithesis of equality and classless society.
But somehow (almost always, I can't actually bring any exception to the rule) the communists always seem to prefer this type of "absolutist monarchy" type of rule at the end, and they even defend it for some bizzare unexplained reason.

Why are college students drawn to Bernie Sanders?
I am tired of everyone fighting with each other. This is all by design.

Since the GFC many younger people (and older people) are questioning the direction America is taking capitalism . Capitalism is still by far the best system , but when it becomes abused and crippled with corruption its ceases to work the way it should .

What recent U.S. leader has heaped praise on, to the point of it being embarrassing, the likes of Vladimir Putin and Kim Jong Un?

Because he’s the only one addressing the issues that matter to us.

    From the article:

The schools have not taught much about the ravages of socialism and communism in China, Russia, Venezuela and other countries. To young people, socialism is an abstract concept. Due to their current situations, many young people feel that they have little to lose if America pivots from capitalism to socialism. Since they don’t view their current circumstances and future outlook with any degree of confidence, it's worth it to take a chance and change things up.

GA, when I was in college, we sat around our dorm rooms massively concerned about college debt, a stagnant economy, job market and high interest rates. We were convinced that we would never own a home. Interest rates were in the 16-18%'s. I had college loans at 12-14%. It was bad. It was dismal. We were well aware of the ravages of socialism and communism, it'd been taught to us since we were in our cribs. We sacrificed, lived in ghettos / inner cities / with our parents / over garages / etc., and clawed our ways out. Some of us now enjoy the fruits of capitalism. I cringe when I think that some of your generation is willing to sell yourselves to the sameness and mediocrity of socialism. It's there. Go take it. Don't give up. You will be better for it.
Any time you give a man something he doesn't earn, you cheapen him. Our kids earn what they get, and that includes respect. -- Woody Hayes

It's been over 10 years since the GFC . Anyone who was 10/15 years old , will now be in their 20's . They are the most cyber savvy generation . They watched as their world was economically trashed , and they watched as the perpetrators were rewarded for their crimes with $billions - and it's still happening . The new generations deserve some respect . If they don't get it , they'll take it . I believe they will fix many things.......that need fixing. I doubt they will opt for socialism.......but they should achieve a better form of capitalism , that has no corruption. I can understand why The Bern makes sense to them .
