Persian Basmati Rice with Saffron (food with benefits)

I wanted to share this amazing recipe. It is Persian Basmati rice with saffron. Saffron has tons of medicinal uses. It can help from blood pressure, and diabetes to anxiety and depression, and even Alzheimer's. https://www.wildturmeric.net/saffron...-side-effects/ There could be interactions with blood thinners, or blood pressure medications. https://www.webmd.com/vitamins-and-s...uses-and-risks

Are those potato's lying on top of the rice?

Think 3rd party for 2024 folks. Clean up America.

Once I tell you that we agree to disagree there will be no more discussion between us in the thread so please don't waste your time continuing to argue your points because I will not respond.

Yes they are. I just tried this recipe for the first time tonight and it is wonderful. Those potatoes line the bottom of the pan while you steam the rice. They turn out crunchy and flavorful. The only thing is I think I used too much butter, next time I will tone it down. Honestly the saffron didnt taste special to me when I tried it in a tea. I wasnt sure what all the hype was about. But when I had it in the rice, now I get it. It really is amazing.

I got a lot of saffron in Istanbul's spice market- a lot cheaper than getting it here.
