Another cease-fire

I'm not going to provide a link, all incomplete to date. But, I'm hearing we've another cease-fire agreement with the Taliban.

Can I just reiterate again....and again. We cannot up and leave Afghanistan completely. We just got there.

We should have never gotten so heavily involved in what the Democrats called "The Right War".
We remember how it was Democrats that forced Bush to increase our activities in Afghanistan by threatening funding in Iraq.

Entered into the chaos in the Levant only after the Nov 2015 attack in Paris, just like you did. Played cat and mouse realpolitik with North Korea and Afghanistan. Iran's carrot-only approach the same. No stick. Realpolitik failure after Realpolitik catastrophe. Neocons having to restore order several times..noted in this forum.

To the contrary, Obama using realpolitik was President during the Libya failure. Syria's ongoing civil war turned into a disaster for the West because of failed Realpolitik policies such as red lines and then stubborn refusal to admit when those realpolitik policies had gone so wrong.
