This is a random thread on the sun it begins with a storm and ends in an ice age......
Fun fact: The sun has waves that can travel three million miles per hour, that's off the hook. https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x7rs3ru
In 2012 we experienced a solar storm and a CME that was a near miss if it would have hit us it would have been lights out, literally. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Solar_storm_of_2012
It is thought that the sun can cause lightning storms here on earth. https://www.iflscience.com/space/sol...-storms-earth/
In 2012, I do remember having experienced unusual lightning storms, during that solar storm. I captured some on video, I have complied this 40 second video of some of the footage. It's in real time.
Here is a random video on the sun, for fun.
National Geographic: The Sun Full HD 1080p, Amazing Documentary
Last but not least get ready for the great freeze. Earth could be about to enter a solar minimum, that will bring about a mini ice age. Unless of course Betelgeuse decides to up and go supernova, then what? https://in.mashable.com/science/1104...ips-the-planet
Perhaps this has something to do with our recent launch to study the sun.
