It seems clear the police, whether local or federal were completely wrong. Why have the courts shielded them from prosecution?
Call your state legislators and insist they approve the Article V convention of States to propose amendments.
I pledge allegiance to the Constitution as written and understood by this nation's founders, and to the Republic it created, an indivisible union of sovereign States, with liberty and justice for all.

I don't really know how anyone can actually say we live in a free country with rights when we have sections of the population who can do $#@! like this and get away with it.

I reject that "few". I sold everything to cops, fireman, security firms etc... that did not involve lethal weapons as a job when putting my way through college. The cops were always talking in the store and did not care what I heard.
About 1/3 are criminals. I mean dealing drugs out of police cares, working with organized crime, told stories of stopping women and giving them a choice of sex or jail if they had a few drinks. They were more likely to kill you than save you.
1/3 were there for a civil service type job and did not care or have any desire to take risk or rock the boat. They will show up when the coast is clear
1/3 were Superman and would die to protect someone else.
Saying that is it is "just a few bad apples" to me sounds the same as "he was such a good boy".
Never trust a cop. They are rarely there with concern of your life.
