    Doomberg Insults Farmers

I swear, folks. I'm not making this up. If I were drunk for a week on cheap tequila until I was seeing worms crawl out of the ground, there's no way I could have imagined this.

    https://www.foxnews.com/politics/blo...-2016-comments

Bloomberg implied farming doesn't take intelligence in 2016 comments

Joining the Distinguished Speakers Series at the University of Oxford Saïd Business School, Bloomberg was responding to a question about whether it is possible to unite people in middle America and the coasts. One of the issues standing in the way of that, Bloomberg said, was the inability of blue-collar workers to adapt to the information economy even if they have their education subsidized.

"The agrarian society lasted 3,000 years and we could teach processes. I could teach anybody, even people in this room, no offense intended, to be a farmer," Bloomberg said. "It's a process. You dig a hole, you put a seed in, you put dirt on top, add water, up comes the corn. You could learn that. Then we had 300 years of the industrial society. You put the piece of metal on the lathe, you turn the crank in the direction of the arrow and you can have a job. And we created a lot of jobs. At one point, 98 percent of the world worked in agriculture, now it's 2 percent in the United States."

Bloomberg continued: "Now comes the information economy and the information economy is fundamentally different because it's built around replacing people with technology and the skill sets that you have to learn are how to think and analyze, and that is a whole degree level different. You have to have a different skill set, you have to have a lot more gray matter. It's not clear the teachers can teach or the students can learn...

And some people think this elitist idiot is going to be president? Seriously?

They've spent 3 years taking some pretty extreme positions. How do they walk them back now for the general?

'Doomberg'???? Seriously? As much of an idiot as he may be, mutilation of his name doesn't reflect well on you.

Bloomberg doesn't have a clue that he has insulted more than just the farmers. He has no idea how the rest of the world functions.

They are all pretty much campaigning AGAINST prosperity. They ALL want to take away cars and planes, raise taxes on the poor and get rid of hundreds of thousands of blue collar jobs. It's not bad enough that left wing Democrats have ALWAYS had these dumbass ideas as an ideology; these idiots are CAMPAIGNING on these dumbass ideas.

Doomberg'???? Seriously? As much of an idiot as he may be, mutilation of his name doesn't reflect well on you.

Actually, it was Rush Limbaugh, recent recipient of the Presidential Medal Of Freedom, who first coined the Doomberg line, and this goes back when Rush was a resident in the city that Doomberg was totally screwing. The man was the worst mayor in that city's history. And you need to lighten up.

Bloomberg doesn't have a clue that he has insulted more than just the farmers. He has no idea how the rest of the world functions.

With him it's farmers and blue collar workers. Quid Pro Quo Joe basically insulted coal miners by suggesting they can lose their jobs and learn how to code.

And it doesn't reflect well on Limbaugh either. It's juvenile.

Most politicians don't have a clue what the 'real world' is about, and what it takes to survive and prosper. While no one can realistically make everyone 'happy', they could try minimizing the low cuts at the working man/woman, the core and backbone of society and the economy.
