    OK
Whoever criticizes capitalism, while approving immigration, whose working class is its first victim, had better shut up. Whoever criticizes immigration, while remaining silent about capitalism, should do the same.

He secured the release of 15 American prisoners in Iraq in 1990.

    Excerpt:

In August 1990, shortly after Iraq invaded Kuwait, Saddam took thousands of foreigners hostage. After the United Nations passed a resolution demanding that Iraq pull out of Kuwait, Saddam still had 15 American men, using them as human shields by holding them in buildings America was likely to bomb. Some of the men had worked at the GM plant in Baghdad. All were civilians.

Muhammad Ali: Political activist, global humanitarian

    Link https://www.politico.com/gallery/201...002269?slide=0

    Excerpt:

Inside the ring, Muhammad Ali was a heavyweight champion, a showman, one of the greatest in the boxing world. But outside the ring? It's where Ali's greatness truly shone. While his activism against the Vietnam War and his comments on race relations in the 1960s led to much controversy, his devotion in his later years to humanitarian causes worldwide garnered much respect. Ali's death Friday at the age of 74 came after a lengthy battle with Parkinson's, a disease for which he spent decades raising money and awareness and appealing Congress for research funding. POLITICO takes a look back at Ali's moments in the political spotlight, his activism and his many efforts over the years to promote peace in the world.

Was there a reason behind this post at this time? Did he show up at a bowling alley in Akron with Elvis?

There is also a little known story of him hearing about a black man about to jump off a ledge and drove over there and talked him down.
He did not once hype it up or wait for the press to get there before he made his move.
He just did it and left without fanfare.

    That was a classy move.

I did not like him much, but have to give credit where credit is due.

Later in life he was so punch drunk others took advantage of his condition for their personal gain.

    EXAMPLE:
Some group of creeps put his name on shoe polish and tried to get K-Mart, a black owned business, to stock it and sell it for them.
They even went so far as to say the Rev. Desmond Tutu of South Africa endorsed it.
He did no such thing, and was angry they would use his name to make money for themselves.

The whole thing exposed those creeps for taking advantage of a disabled man, and using any black cause to further their own bank accounts.

When it is not allowed to be questioned, it is not science, it is PROPAGANDA
