Very heart-warming story. I have had cases against the younger attorney.

What a lovely story DG, kind of a real tearjerker. So lovely. Thank you for that.

These stories are great. On the flip side and coincidentally when I was driving through SW Ohio I heard a interview, on the radio, of a priest who got to meet his mother because of the records becoming accessible. She was not all that warm and told him that if it were acceptable at that time then she would have aborted him.
He grew up in an orphanage. I don't think I had heard anything so cruel before. There was no reason to tell him that.

Such a contrast to your story.

How about the fact that the Mother and Father ended up getting married and their kids are his full brothers and sisters. Wow.

I thought that was awesome too. There were two parts that made the tears flow, that was when he said he would take that certificate with him in his pocket to the meetings just in case he got the courage. The second was when he hugged his mother.

You know it really got me thinking about the bond that children have with their parents. There are so many children who were given up for adoption and even the ones who love their adoptive parents like they are their real parents, still they have the desire to find their birth parents. I know that is natural, but it really got me to thinking. I'm not speaking for everyone but there are so many.

Also the way that he and his siblings had that automatic connection. It is so strange, that we can be so connected to someone we have never met before. There is something powerful there. I don't know it just got me to thinking.
