On a slight tangent, I've been planning a trip to Alabama to see my Army kid and take in the inaugural home opener of the Rocket City Trash Pandas - been planning and looking forward to it for some time. Considering my age, medical issues and history of lung infections, however, I decided that traveling in an airborne petri dish was probably not the smartest thing to do, so I began thinking about driving. Now, with sporting events being cancelled and entire seasons possibly postponed, it's uncertain whether there would even be a game to attend if I made the trip.

I think the NCAA should air the entire 1967-68 tournament so the younger generation could see Lew Alcindor play. Of course, I have an personal interest as the Dayton Flyers made it all the way the finals. On the plus side of the story, perhaps Obi Toppin, will choose to have another year at UD, to finish the job. He's a shoe in to go high in the NBA draft. On the other hand, the owners may be a bit stingy after this loss of revenue. We'll see!
Well, you never know. Of course this thread is pretty non-political, but sometimes how far afield you're allowed to wander without being slammed for "off-topic posting" depends entirely on whose ox you're attempting to gore. I'm always amazed when simple disagreement with or a solid refutation of the OP's premise is labeled "off topic". Or "trolling".
