    This is pretty much what I was going to add. Yes, everyone agrees that these contradictory and confusing "rules" and judgments are applied to both sexes, by both sexes, but - generally speaking - men do not care...either about what others think about them, or what others think about others. They find attractive or off-putting what they, as individuals, find attractive or off-putting, and don't worry so much about what others are thinking and saying.
