I found this interesting, and accurate. Society, which includes other women, have standards for women that are both often unachievable and confusing. The issue of weight is a good place to start where there is less politicization, but don't be fat because that's gross... but if you're too thin, you're sick. But that's the size of women in media. But real men don't like women who are that skinny.
It's sort of a ping-pong of expectations which I am sure that men also experience, but it would seem like women experience it on a broader range of issues. Another one might be the idea of a strong female boss; she's strong, experienced and intelligent, but also a shrew and a $#@!. Again, this is also women labeling other women.
