We have been listening to the Senate for the past 2-3 hours. One thing stands out...

this is 2 + Trillion Bill they are discussing, and several say more will come. At the same time some...Dems...say things like...this is a good time to "give" our low paid workers extra money, above what their working wages would be. They are on the track to give $600 per week...above what the States unemployment is. So what if they get $1000 a month more, they will just have more to spend...is the attitude. That sounds like the political move to get some votes. At the same time several Dems have said the "big" corporations don't need help and businesses can raise the pay...if people decide the "new" unemployment gives them more ...than to go back to their jobs. Anyone have an idea just how high our taxes will be to pay for all this????

Like so many times the attitude of Dems is spend it and no concern for how it will be paid for.

We need, as a nation, help but that extends to all business and individuals, and not this constant add on, while the iron is hot attitude of the Dems.

The stimulus package isn't meant to slow the virus. It's meant to address the impact.

Yes, the impact along with money to help with the needs for combating the virus. People need to go back to work so our economy will start moving again....but the Dems want more than that. They want to put their special interests into the Bill. What in the hell does paying for more abortions have to do with people going back to work? Or...how about the Pelosi plan to put in green new deal laws have to do with the needs of today, associated with this virus????

26 trillion divided by about 120 million taxpayers is my new debt. In reality I will carry a much large share of that because the largest group in the middle pays a very small amount. I do not feel stimulated.

Pelosi and the a Dems haven't attempted to include funds for abortion into the bill. That's a disproven myth.
