It is your patriotic duty to seek out news critical of power, regardless of whether there is a D or an R in office.The "media" enjoys a 55% disapprove rating.
Yet, when you see an article that does not praise the President or attempt to mitigate his blatant failures, you think it is "fake" or unfair.
The whole purpose of the media is not to sing the praises of the President. The purpose is to be the harshest critic of those who wield power.
If you have come to trust a news source that never or rarely critiques the President, be suspicious. You are assimilating propaganda. You are not getting any smarter.
This President must discredit the media. That's what poor leaders and authoritarians must do. He invented the phrase "fake news" to do that. And I submit that those who repeat that phrase have essentially been unwittingly hypnotised. News is fake only of it is intentionally false.
I am not saying you must believe every criticism. But you do have to stop telling others they should discount every criticism. That's insane and dangerous to freedom.
