The entire wall if we were just starting it today would be $25 billion maximum
So only a reduction of 10% is required to have a one year payback upon completion. Then it would save us 20 billion a year every year thereafter with a 5 billion maintenance improvement budget.

Can it lower illegal immigration by 10%. It already has done more where it has been built.
It is very difficult to get over so it is providing up to a 90% reduction where it has built but they can still go around it so the 90% is not realized in the total illegal immigration number. Tunnels are mostly for drugs. They do not waste the expense to shuttle people through and make them easily detectable.

So the wall is actually a profitable venture.

A 16 inch blade can only cut to a depth of about 5" and they are too heavy to hold up in a horizontal position. Also your Democrats sources know nothing about something that I do know far too much about.

Walls were never made to stop someone. They are made to slow down so you can detect and act.

It is a hundred percent true. Ask any guy here that has tried to use a reciprocating saw to even cut a low alloy galvanized fence post what he thinks about using one to cut through the new border wall.
They will all laugh at you.

The new wall is rigged with detection sensors and this job would have taken about 24 hours with portable equipment.

The test they also refer to was a prototype and actually not the final version.
