In the future will you miss the Corona days?

Days when Americans were as one in this. Days you can tell your grandkids we " socially distanced". Days when we all joined the toilet paper wars. Days when the preppers got to say "told ya told ya told ya". What will you tell your grandkids, grandcats etc?

No. I won't miss it at all. This is a pretty terrifying glimpse into total government tyranny.

I will miss only one aspect of this: the low price of gasoline. (It is just $1.599 here--and the gasoline tax is very high in Tennessee, as we have no state income tax. Of course, the price is even lower elsewhere: I heard, for instance, of a station in Kentucky that is selling gasoline for just 99.9 cents per gallon.)

I think its a terrifying look of what happens when another country unleashes bio warfare on us. On the other side its been great to see Americans in one accord in a manner not seen since WW2

I think this current situation and the public's willingness to go along with it is going to culminate in us losing many of the rights we took for granted just a month or two ago.

Plus the noticable reduction in spam phone calls.

I won't have any grandchildren, but if I did I would tell them to take back their freedom. We failed and allowed the government to control us at will.

Gas at the Exxon closest to me is $2.99. But I can go maybe 2 miles away and get Exxon gas for around $2.30.

The Exxon station that is about a mile from where I live (and close to where I get my breakfast) has gasoline for $1.599--as does, also, the Marathon station right across the street from it. (Where I live, Marathon is usually the highest-priced gasoline in the city--followed closely by Shell.)

Murphy Express (about two miles from there) also has gasoline for $1.599.

Update: That Marathon station has just today lowered its price by 10 cents per gallon, to $1.499.
