I am also going to give a go at sprouting beans...... I will let you know how that works out. Here is a great video for anyone else who wants to try it.

    Update:
Overall this experiment was a success. I got to eat some of my sprouts today on some bean tacos for the first time. It did the trick. My desperate cravings for greens have ceased. I am also sprouting beans that is a wonderful experiment, although they do not taste very good. But they feel good in the body though. You just have to get through the bitter flavor.

My chia seeds so far are a fail. But the flax seeds were perfect. I threw away my chia batch and am starting over. I found out you can only water them lightly with a spray bottle. Lesson learned, let's see if I do better I am on day two with the new method. Here is a pic of my sprouts from today. I am pleased with this experiment. I have also found out that the sprouts are even more nutritious that vegetables. They are also packed with enzymes. This is a bonus for our immune system.

I need to get my sprouter out. It's a little three-level round thing and you pour water in the top and then it drips through to the bottom so the seeds don't sit in water.

Sprouts are so nutritious! I used to make a sandwich with seasoned cream cheese, cucumbers, sunflower seeds and sprouts. It was really good and now I plan to get some sprouts going and have one of those next week!

Please stay here and let's chat about all things nutritious and delicious! By the way, I made some of your pinto beans last month. Everyone loves that recipe!
