A less affluent society? Is a massive redistribution of wealth called for?

I think a redistribution of ill-gotten wealth be the beneficial , just to balance out the inequality generally . Australia's needs the same . We been screaming for infrastructure , for instance , and government considers tax cuts for big companies to be more important . I think that sort of thinking will be history after corona . I also think lobbyists will be mostly unemployed.

It could the other way , with increased restrictions , and less civil liberties , but that would be the last thing any country needs.

It could also be something not as radical as either of those approaches.

That's exactly what needs to be stopped. The Socialists are going to try to set up big government as your savior.
Socialists are evil people waiting for a event to help them gain power and steal from others. They are failures in their own lives so they need to steal.

Your ideas are the last thing we need.

This is worth fighting over. I am willing to kill and to die defending liberty.
Call your state legislators and insist they approve the Article V convention of States to propose amendments.

I pledge allegiance to the Constitution as written and understood by this nation's founders, and to the Republic it created, an indivisible union of sovereign States, with liberty and justice for all.
