As I have said before, this recession is purely a market reaction to two situations. The oil price war is sufficient enough to cause a minor global recession on its own. SARS-CoV-2 and the near global lock down is what threatens to turn the recession into a depression level event.

However, this is a short term problem that will correctly correct itself once these situations are resolved. Yes, markets here, in Europe, and in China have systematic problems that will cause crashes in the future, but those are not in play today.



I see zero chance of that happening until after we experience a total economic collapse. That will happen when the global debt crisis explodes in our faces.

I see one good thing to come out of it in the long run....

Our complete reliance on China for damb near everything.

Then came the massive political battles. Voting rights. Private Property. We've battled through depression and plague. Wars including civil that saw entire cities annihilated.

And you should come visit during our elections, PJL, we have some knock down drag out battles. Why, we just saw the Left's most qualified queen dethroned and sent for a walk in the woods. It was quite dramatic, great stuff indeed.
