I don't know if this forum brought up the spring breakers in Florida at the time Governor DeSantis made the independent move of closing all the public beaches. (Oh, and do you think only WHITE kids are on Spring Break? Do you think blacks, Asians or Latinos aren't smart enough to attend college and have enough money for a Florida Spring Break? Just checking.)

Perhaps the Florida issue wasn't worthy of a thread because we have a COMPETENT Republican governor who acted quickly and decisively when the beach issue came up. I AM surprised that this news source only discusses Oakland. Most of Los Angeles is a giant sewer of the homeless, living and defecating on the streets. They probably aren't wearing masks and they probably aren't social distancing. And I'm pretty sure California's Democrat governor isn't doing anything about them. (Hell, that idiot is letting criminals out of prison.)
