Here in Tennessee, Governor Bill Lee has just issued an order to stay at home (except, of course, for "essential" purposes). In this, he mimics many other governors.

I really do not know, however, if it will work.

Someone on TV yesterday said--with good reason, I believe--that Americans are not at all like the Chinese in this regard.

Whereas the Chinese people feel that they must be subservient to the government, Americans typically feel like "You [government] are not the boss of me."

So this stay-at-home order is not certain to be followed.

I hope this isn't a surprise to anyone. Even with home shelter orders in place the city is up in shootings around 30%. I have a better topic headline, Ghetto ignores shelter-in-place order.

So now comes the warm weather and the Corona clowning will come. The cops are going down with Corona and the ones that aren't are not in to big a hurry to come into physical contact with offenders anyway. Of course they will if its a physical safety issue for citizens but regular stops, or working drugs or whatnot? Who would want to bring the virus home from a junkie?

Warm weather is coming and Gangster Nation is ready to roll. I expect looting along with violence.
