I remember when I had to walk to school, in six feet of snow, with no shoes, and it was uphill both ways.

Yes, by all means we should appoint a Czar that controls the output of Apple products and limits the number of computers anyone can buy in a lifetime. The same with cars, steaks, and women's shoes. There should be a federal agency that controls the number of these things any family or individual is allowed to purchase.

Yeah, later versions were less "Yorkshire" and more "Kings English"

It wouldn't be useful with a YouTube clip, of course, but I used to have a problem understanding what certain Brit, Scottish or Australian characters on t.v. were saying - until it occurred to me that I could simply turn on the set's closed caption feature. All those years of trying to decipher something Chibs on 'Sons of Anarchy' or someone on 'Mr. In-Between' had just said, and running it back five or six times to no avail.

Or, LOL! Americans can simply learn the English language - it's not that difficult.

I'm a Brit-born Aussie, and I have very little trouble understanding the various British dialects (and I can understand the various American dialects - except Ebonics).
