Hey I'm admitting that the democrats are shot as a political party; just the republicans are just as bad. It's time to either vote for or form a new political party and send a message to the dems and repubs that we are through with them and their antics.

Not too long ago I would have agreed that the GOP is just as bad, not anymore the GOP is definitely not as bad as the democrat party and having only 2 to choose from the GOP is the only one to me

I get that the republicans can be considered the lesser of two evils, however as a comparison--IMO--it's like having a choice between two people, one who's murdered 10 people and one who's murdered only 1 person. So one could say, "the one who murdered only one person is the lesser of two evils, so I'll go with him". For me personally it wouldn't matter because both are murderers and I wouldn't want either under any circumstances and would go with one who wasn't a murderer at all. Some could argue that the comparison is rather extreme but I need to get my point across.

Obviously the illegal immigrant situation facing this country is of major concern for you and I can respect that viewpoint just like for me the candidates position on labor in this country is a major concern for me as well everything else being secondary.

Bottom line for me is this; I think both major political parties are totally useless and need to go. I realize that it's easier said then done, however if it's ever going to happen, you have to start somewhere and no matter how long it takes, work towards accomplishing your goals to reach that junction. Those who choose to remain with the status quo is fine; that is their right and I respect that.

I've never been a member of any political party my entire life and unless hell freezes over and a party comes along which embraces most of my viewpoints, it't highly unlikely I'll ever join one.

Tough to defend a party when you don't belong to one; I never knew that independents were considered a political party, If you find to the contrary let me know so I can go to their convention.

You conveniently overlook the hypocrisy of the republican party.

They claim to be the party that will reduce taxes, the federal deficit and look at this; their proposed budget for the upcoming year increased the federal deficit by well over a trillion dollars (this was before the Coronavirus funding was proposed) thus raising the federal deficit even higher; so much for prudent spending. Every time your party comes out with a proposed federal budget, they always say--slightly embarrassed--a lame excuse as to why the budget exceeds the prior one, further raising the federal deficit.

The democrats are the party of freebies; the republicans are the party of free wheeling spending.

That is the truth and cannot be denied.

You must have forgot about BO the peep cutting the military by 25%. Also cutting R&D. Btw, that was just in his 2nd term. Doesn't even count what was cut in his first term.


That is not to say that Liberal Republicans don't spend.


Then there is that bipartisan issue about Infrastructure. Wherein all go for the pork with their states. With Illinois and Chicago alone.....we can see what the Demos do with that money for infrastructure. Its funny that suburbs and areas controlled by Repubs. That the basics are covered. Like with Roads and streets. Can you explain why Democrats never get those done in the physical year?

You keep talkin about a 3rd Party. Yet there are several other parties. From the Green Party to the Libertarian party. From the Reform Party to the Constitutional Party. Which says nothing of the Left Leaning Socialist Party and Communist party.

By all means join one. Then we can watch how you discover that any other party would do some things like the Repubs and Demos. When it comes to governing.

Now another Democrat is giving access to Covid relief programs to illegal aliens.



Chicago Mayor Signs Executive Order to Ensure Illegal Immigrants Have Access to COVID-19 Relief Programs


Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot (D) announced on Tuesday she signed an executive order that will allow illegal immigrants to access some of the benefits citizens are receiving through the Wuhan coronavirus relief stimulus package.


"When it comes to COVID-19, we are all in this together and we are leaving no one behind. That's why Chicago is doing everything it can to support all of our residents during this crisis, including our immigrant and refugee communities," Lightfoot said in a video posted to Twitter.


Some of the programs being made available includes a housing assistance grant, an Online Enrichment Learning Resources through Chicago Public Schools for students at all levels, and a $100 million Chicago Small Business Resiliency Fund to provide small businesses with disaster relief cash flow during the pandemic pandemic, which is available to any entrepreneur, including immigrant business owners.


"This order is more than just an official decree, it is a statement of our values as a city and as Americans,” said Lightfoot. "Since COVID-19 first reached our city’s doorstep, we have been working around the clock to ensure all our residents are secure and supported, including our immigrant and refugee communities, who are among the most vulnerable to the impact of this pandemic.".....snip~
