China Joins UN Human Rights Council

*China has been appointed to a panel on the controversial U.N. Human Rights Council, where it will help vet candidates for important posts -- despite its decades-long record of systematic human rights abuse that the U.S. has said fueled the coronavirus pandemic.*

I guess we shouldn't be surprised

Jiang Duan, minister at the Chinese Mission in Geneva, was appointed to the U.N. Human Rights Council’s Consultative Group -- where he will serve as the representative of the Asia-Pacific states. He will serve as one of five representatives for blocs of countries and is joined by delegates from Spain, Slovenia and Chad.

The body said that China will now play a central role in picking at least 17 human rights investigators, including those looking at freedom of speech, enforced disappearance and arbitrary detention -- all rights that the Chinese regime is said to have violated.

The Human Rights Council too has come under intense scrutiny for its membership. The U.S. left the council in 2018. Then-U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley called it “a protector of human rights abusers, and a cesspool of political bias."

The country took its seat on the body earlier this year, along with other controversial picks such as Sudan and Libya......snip~

Its time that the US start up a New League of Nations.

China made this move in the effort to cover it's arse concerning their apparent accident releasing the Wuhan virus pandemic.

The United Nations are a bunch of pimps and prostitutes.

I remember the time of our Somali involvement and the UN Sec Gen at the time Boutros-Ghali. This mutt, an Egyptian, made millions of $$ selling arms to the various Rwanda factions adding fire to the various genocides there and then had the nerve to try and get the US Involved even while the French, the former colonial power of Rwanda, was arming and assisting the Hutu in slaughtering the Tutsi.

Prior Ghali had talked old man Bush into getting involved in Somalia where Ghali had a long time personal beef with rebel leader Farah Aidid. Bush sent in the USMC but with so much azz the Somali factions were afraid of messing with 'murica and Bush was to smart to be Ghali's puppet and use US troops to hunt down factions leaders. Bush wanted nothing to do with Somalia's civil war. And then Clinton gets elected and Billy the globalist prostitute gets talked into sending in lightly armed operators into a heavily armed civil war, with Al Qaeda factions involved ; He gets used like a cheap condom by the UN and Ghali to hunt down Aidid, while at the same time trys to keep the military footprint small refusing to send in azz and gunships, and the result is Blackhawk down and a bunch of US kids killed because a US Democrat President allows himself to be a cheap sex toy for some UN leader from the savage 3rd world.

The same thing in Bosnia. There we had B2 bombers bombing some 3rd world crap hole at the Behest of the UN and its leader Ghali with the rest of Europe while the fake news floated how Bosnia was "a threat to NATO". How in hell was NATO threatened by that civil war? They acted like it was a Soviet invasion. Meanwhile the French inspired and armed Rwandan genocide where 1 million Tutsi were chopped up was suppressed by the Clinton administration because it made them look like the hypocrites they were. The United nations always wanted the keys to the American military for their wretched adventures and helped by the Leftist globalist news media they long ago brainwashed Europe and many Americans too.

So now China buys its way onto the Human rights panel to control the UNs propaganda. Isn't that just great. We should bulldoze that building into the ocean where it would serve a purpose for the first time as fish attracting structure for sport fishing.

IMO that's a huge mistake; it's like putting a tiger in charge of the meat department.
God Bless America, God Bless our Military and God Bless the Police who defended the country against the insurgents on January 6, 2021

Think 3rd party for 2024 folks. Clean up America.

Once I tell you that we agree to disagree there will be no more discussion between us in the thread so please don't waste your time continuing to argue your points because I will not respond.

Agreed.....as soon as this Wuhu Flu has passed. Kick the UN out of the US. Then we should start our own Justice League. (of course, not allowing Democrats any access to that Justice League) No communications unless they have written permission.
