Space saving egg storage

This only works if you are a big fan of scrambled eggs. I like my over easy most of the time. I fry the eggs in butter (always two) and have them with ham or bacon. I also have grits and put the two fried eggs on top of the grits and then mix the yellow in the grits.

However, if one is camping or trying to save as many eggs as possible this is certainly an excellent method of doing so.

Why I said something to you was because yours was mean-spirited and a personal attack, whereas his was just an observation the current grocery store situation in his area.

Absolutely not...no "maybe" about it.

This thread i started is about eggs.
Storing them, cooking them, buying them, or raiding the hen house for them.

Grits make EVERYTHING taste good, as does well made cornbread.

Helps keep the tummy full in leaner times too.

Like you, I prefer fried eggs with the yellow running.
Grandpa showed me how good a chunk of cornbread, with beans over it, and then 2 or a million friend eggs over that is pure heaven.
Throw on some ham and it is as close to Nirvana as a soul can get.

Hey, I apologize if I was a little harsh earlier, I just don't like friends of mine crapping on my threads with personal stuff against someone else.

We all may have cabin fever and i was trying to show others a way to make more room in their refrigerator and still enjoy eggs...though they be scrambled.

If there is to be drift, then let's drift off with cool recipes like you just shared with everyone.

In fact, I think I will try yours in the next couple of days.
