I don't need these attachments so I'll probably sell them or give them away (maybe keep the blade).
May I strongly recommend you confirm the 'no need' statement with Mrs. Utley prior to disposing of them?

I have found some inventive uses for graders.

I put the blower on it this winter and it never left the garage (I hired a service to plow the driveway and we didn't have enough snow to do the walks). I put the deck on Sunday and the steering was again wobbly. I looked on Craigs List and I saw this puppy:

The guy turned out to be a friend of a friend, is a 2016 but only has 35 hours on it. I sent him a check and will pick it up in a few weeks. The dealership I checked with last year indicated that this was the 'new' version of what I had. I got 22 years out of the one I had and my stepson will take it and play with it. The new one has power steering and hydraulic lift plus a PTO. I think it's a lot more tractor than I need but it'll be fun to play with and the power steering and hydraulic lift will be good for Pam (who likes to do the yard).
Back in the early 70's, before my Grandfather passed away, he used to call me to come out to his farm and help him. He had a 1940's vintage John Deere tractor that I will never forget. Starting it was a task as it involved opening the compression release petcocks, standing on the foot pedal starter, hoping the 6 volt battery would turn it over. Then once it began to run, jump down and close the petcocks and hear the engine come to full power. And not to forget the hand clutch which made driving it a challenge.
Enjoy your new toy, and I'd suggest you keep the accessories.
Green and yellow are a great color combination.
It's not the bridges burned that bother me but the ones that I never crossed

One of my buddies from 'down home' drove to Canfield (fully masked and gloved), picked up the tractor and brought it to Medina. When I fired up the deck, it didn't sound right. My stepson and I pulled the deck off and couldn't find anything so I thought maybe I had a bent blade or a bent spindle. I called the local dealership this past Monday, they came and got it. As it turns out, the guy had put the blades on wrong when he sharpened them. So, they gave it a one-over, re-set the blades and brought it back. Perfect!! The guy even split the cost with me, very apologetically.

The only think I don't like about the new one is: In the old one, when I got off the seat the tractor continued running unless the blade was engaged, then it shut off. In this one, it always shuts off. I would prefer it the former way.
