Senate Democrats block urgent sm business package and demand bill with larger scope..

Chuck Schumer takes a play out of Pelosi's handbook. Proving once again to the Entire Country that Democrats don't give a $#@! about the people. That their agenda comes before anything else.

Democrats blocked an urgent small-business relief package Thursday after Republicans ignored their demand to double the funding and increase the scope of the legislation.

Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, responding to a request from Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin, hoped to pass a bill quickly to replenish a small-business aid program with an infusion of $250 billion in federal funding.

But Democrats blocked the Kentucky Republican’s unanimous consent request to pass the measure out of the Senate and proposed their own $500 billion measure.

The Democratic leadership has suggested they may hold Americans' paychecks hostage unless we pass another sweeping bill that spends a half a trillion dollars doubling down on a number of parts of the CARES Act, including parts that haven't even started to work yet. The country cannot afford more wrangling or political maneuvering. There is zero chance the sprawling proposal Democrats have gestured toward could pass either chamber by unanimous consent this week. No chance," McConnell said.

Sen. Ben Cardin, a top Democrat from Maryland who serves on the Senate Small Business Panel, introduced the Democratic proposal, which doubles the spending to $500 billion and dedicates $100 billion to healthcare facilities, plus another $250 billion to state and local governments. It would waive work requirements for food stamps and increase food stamp benefits.

The program provides forgivable loans to small businesses that keep most of their staff employed. McConnell said 30% of the initial funding for the program was used up in the first few days.....snip~

Take note people.....this is what the leftness consents to. Believes in. The Lame Stream Media protects. First Pelosi holding up relief. Now Schumer and Senate Democrats.

Never let a crisis go to waste, even if it's manufactured by leftist politicians and the media.

Call their bluff. Let everyone no that relief is not coming because of the Democrats. They cannot hold out long. Republicans better have no pork in the bill if they play that card.

Right now the Repubs should be out telling the American People that the Democrats just screwed over the majority of Independent Contractors.

As we see with the recent California law and Dementia Joe stating he would make that law national, Dems want to end the entire concept of independent contractors. They want everyone to be an employee with full time benefits.

Also, the Demos wanted money for Local governments. Basically for areas under their control.

    So far McConnell hasn't caved.

Not just Independent Contractors...They want all small businesses gone too. They want everyone to fall under a corporation.

Still the Repubs all should have been out in front of those cameras. House Repubs. Senate Repubs. State Repubs. All hammering the Demos for screwing over small businesses. Telling the Independent contractors all across the country to protest Democrats at their Offices and wherever they see the mopes out in public.
